Um. the gear ratio is set wide on the x.. and it has electric start.. its geared more toward baja races.. but its not really that different. Its the same base engine

Ill take my ol 2006 model KX450F over it any day.
i recently bought a 04 yz450f new dealer hold over bike and just above the exhaust port on the front head of the motor is a hole that seems to be spitting oil. should there be a plug or has any 1 else had this problem with their bike? any help would be appreciated.
yamaha rulz……..go james
its supposed to do that i cant think of the actual name of it off hand but its a vent of some sort. no worrys my 07 does the same
thanks for the reply. i did some researching even talked to some bike mechanics and was told there was supposed to be a rubber cork in the hole and that it either didn’t get installed or it blew out, that same hole can be used to install a decompression assembly. my friend has a 01 yz426 with that same hole with a decompression assembly already installed that he can use to make kicking the bike over more effortless and with that assembly being there it doesn’t leak oil.
no you dident!
damn straight!
yamaha fo life

If the shift lever is the perfect size for his size 9, does that mean it will be too short for my size 12?
