Its always a good idea to rejet/ re-adjust your carburaters after installing an exhaust, even if its a slip-on. If anything, you may end up running richer than normal. thats the worst I’ve seen.
Just bought the same pipe (still in the mail), and wondering if you only took the exup cables out, or you had to take out something else. And if only the cables, no problem with the cpu! Some input please. Thanks (08 R6 Canadian edition)
you dont have to Remove the Ex up Cable. On mine i just leave it there, and zip tied it. if you want to remove the Cable you have to take out other parts too.

just bought an 08, is that just a slip on or a full system? also have you heard of leaving the stock header and adding a midpipe? let me know i want some noise of of my bike.. and the g p style is sick
that exhaust looks horrid but it sounds so nice

Have to remove the stock pipe and it bolts onto the stock muffler/cat under bike The jardine slashy is just a piece of pipe.

Well since the R6 is fuelinjected the lambda mesure the exhaust and can adjust enough for a simpel slipon.
